Twin Falls

About This Waterfall

Twin Falls is one of the most photographed waterfalls in the Ozarks, where two streams converge and drop approximately 48 feet in parallel cascades over a wide moss-covered bluff. In high water, a third stream creates a spectacular three-waterfall display. The falls are tucked in a lush hollow at Camp Orr Scout Camp, framed by overhanging bluffs draped in ferns and moss.

The easy half-mile creek-side trail from the parking area follows a gentle path through Ozark forest along the creek. The flat, well-maintained trail takes about 30 minutes round trip and is suitable for most fitness levels. The falls are visible from multiple angles along the creek bed.

The falls are seasonal and best viewed in winter and spring or after heavy rain. The triple-falls display only occurs during high water events. The location near Harrison makes this an accessible introduction to Ozark waterfalls. The photogenic quality of the twin cascades makes this a favorite among landscape photographers.
